You can find the Quicksearch at the top right in the menu bar. Quicksearch offers a convenient way of looking for a search term in both the product area and the editorial area of the homepage.
Tips for entering search terms Avoid punctuation marks in the search term and separate individual search terms with a space, e.g. Bizet Carmen vocal score
If you want to search for an order number, enter this as follows:
AE129 (no space between the series and the edition number) AE129 72 (a space between the edition number and the part number) or AE129-72 (a hyphen between the edition number and the part number)
The results are shown by category. In the upper part you will find the results from the editorial area, and in the lower part the results from the product area. In the right hand column the wish list is displayed. By clicking on the button “Add to wish list” you can add items directly to your wish list from the search results.
With the Quicksearch you can search in all entries and texts. Depending on the search term, the results will include hits which are only peripheral to the search term. For a more precise search with different parameters, please use the Detailed Content Search for the editorial area.
In the Detailed Content Search, you can search for one or more terms within the editorial area.

Why does the hire material listed in the online catalogue have no price?
The price for hire material is individually determined based on the amount of material ordered, the number of performances and the type and scale of the performance. You can find the required details on our hire request form. We, or the representative for your country, will be happy to prepare an individual quotation for your hire material requirements.
What are the delivery costs and how long will I need to wait for the delivery of my hire material?
The delivery costs are based on the size of the order and the delivery service selected. Delivery time varies depending on the amount of material and its availability. Material that needs to be ordered from the original publisher can require longer delivery times. As soon as all the requested material is available it will be dispatched.
Whom should I contact if I haven't received the requested hire material?
If you would like information as to when to expect your order, or you suspect that it has got lost, please contact your representative: Jörg Metz (+49 561 31 05 288) or Laurence Wiegand-Bironneau (+49 561 31 05 289).
What do I need to know about performance rights and scholarly-critical editions?
The right of public performance is not covered by this contract, but such right must be acquired from the appropriate collecting society (in Germany GEMA and VG-Musikedition). The performance/s must be registered and all the beneficiaries of the work in question (i.e. composer, arranger (if applicable), lyricist, translator (if applicable), editor (if applicable), publisher) must be declared upon registration. In case the performance is not duly registered at the appropriate collecting society, the contracting party shall be liable to pay damages to the publisher in the amount corresponding to the lost performance fees, provided that the provisions specified by the collecting society are not contrary thereto. In case there are no collecting societies in the country of performance, a separate agreement is to be made with the publisher as far as performance rights and fees are concerned.
We will handle your personal data with complete confidentiality and will store only that data which is required to fulfil your order. Please also note our Data Protection Statement.
